Srinagar, June 22: The People’s Democratic Party president, Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that they will talk about the restoration of Article 370 and 35-A during the all-party meeting, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24.

Mehbooba said that there was no confusion, the PAGD meeting was called only to deliberate on several issues, which they will raise in the all-party meeting with PM Modi.
She said that during today’s PAGD meeting they discussed that they would seek the release of political prisoners of Jammu and Kashmir, and those who have been wrongfully detained in several jails outside Jammu and Kashmir, and also seek shifting of prisoners who are under custody in outside jails to Srinagar jails.
She said that there should have been some confidence building measures by the Centre before calling for an all-party meeting, however, that did not happen. ” But we will not do any such things at this time which will subvert the dialogue process, which has been started now, so we will be attending the meeting and we hope we will put forth our view openly there.
